Meet a very interesting man called Chris. Chris is happily married to Danielle a previous successful student of Uncle Joe. Chris initially forced to learn how to drive and so reluctantly dropped me an email about starting his lessons. We managed to fix a date for a taster session. Lessons were then to commence in earnest. I must confess that Chris still remains one of the best student i have had the privilege to teach. I looked forward Chris lessons knowing there would be a laugh somewhere lurking within the lesson. Roundabouts were his favourites he loved them so much that Chris made it clear that he would need to go on roundabouts before he gets a pass! Guess what? 03/11/2014 at the West Didsbury Driving Test Centre, Chris passed his driving test making only two minor driver’s fault. Congratulations once again Chris. I am going to miss you.  Wish you a lifetime of safe driving. Here is what Chris has to say about his experience with Uncle Joe:

I entered Uncle Joe’s Driving School a reluctant student, forced to attend by a wife who had lost interest in providing a chauffeur service.

We began in the box; learning the basics of clutch control and steering. Through Joe’s natural enthusiasm and flair for transmitting the techniques required to tame the transmission, I grew in confidence and was soon on to the open road, navigating roundabouts and junctions under his considered tuition. Joe’s lessons are structured and each subsequent lesson builds on and develops the skill obtained in the previous. Being in the car with Joe is a pleasure, he presents as relaxed, professional instructor who enjoys teaching his students and this creates a very safe atmosphere within the car; perfect for learning how many minis it takes to perfect a reverse park (1 5/8) without taking a trip to the town hall.

Thanks for getting me to pass my test – I’m well on my way to becoming the chauffeur!
