Getting Started

Test Preparation

First and foremost, you need to know that currently, the National Passing average for drivers is 43%. It is quite tough and you definitely need to be prepared at all times. It is really worth taking all the lessons seriously.

You need to study ‘The Highway Code’ and the AA’s ‘Theory Test’ book.

Be prepared both with practical and theory test. As much as you want to learn how to drive, you also need to learn important facts – make sure you know what to expect with Theory Test and Practical Test.

The Test Cost

The combined theory and hazard perception test currently cost £23.

A weekday practical test costs £62. Evening or weekend tests cost £75.

"Joe is an amazing instructor and would definitely recommend him to anyone! I came to him with very little confidence after having failed my test already a couple of times and in only one week he showed me where I was going wrong and filled me with so much more confidence for the test. Joe is friendly, professional, patient, very clear in explaining what to do and why it's done and somehow makes everything seem so simple! I passed today with only one minor - thanks, Joe!"  Read More
