Meet a lovely lady called Julia. I got an email a few months ago from Julia who was then in Scotland. Julia is on MA programme here at the university in Manchester. We got off with a taster session after which a package of ten lessons was recommended. We began the lessons making steady progress along the way. Right turns were proving a challenge to Julia, as the lessons came by Julia’s confidence grew steadily. Then came reverse park that proved to be a nightmare until we managed to get round about it in a nice and simple way. Although Julia narrowly missed out on her first attempt many thanks to a truck! 20th November 2014 at the West Didsbury Driving Test Centre, Julia passed on her second attempt, making only four driver’s fault. Congratulations once again I could not be any less proud of you. Wish you a lifetime of safe driving. Here is what Julia thought about her experience of learning to drive with Uncle Joe:
Just passed this afternoon on 2nd attempt. Uncle Joe always had faith that I could do it even when I was discouraged and convinced that I couldn’t drive. He was always good-humoured and made me laugh. Thanks for all your help. I couldn’t have done it without you!
Julia
