Meet a quiet easy going mother Sam, Sam was referred to Uncle Joe by Grace a previous successful student of Uncle Joe. Sam had been unsuccessful in her previous attempts with another instructor. We got a taster session out of the way. Agreed to a structured lesson plan, Sam was keen to get it right, lessons were quite strained to a tiny extent nonetheless got the lessons going. Test booked for the 21st December 2018 at the West Didsbury Driving Test Centre. Sam went on to pass her test just before the expiry of her theory test. Congratulations once again, could not be any less proud of you.

Meet Raqia, a quiet easy going mother. Raqia was referred to Uncle Joe by a loved one. We had some setbacks in the process of getting the licence but after much wait, we got through and all clear to go ahead to take the practical test. Test booked for the 8th of November 2018 at the West Didsbury Driving Test Centre. Raqia pulled up at the test centre feeling confident, thus drove to the acceptable standard. Passed first time with Uncle Joe. Congratulations once again, could not be any less proud of you. Wish you a lifetime of safe driving.

Booked a few taster session with Joe and a few other companies after a while of not driving to see which instructor was the best. After being with Joe I knew straight away he was the best by a country mile. So I booked a following 10 hours with Joe and he said he knew I’d be ready for my test so book that as well. It seemed so soon but Joe reassured me he knew I’d be ready, he had faith in me and he was right too, as I passed first time. Top bloke who puts his students first and really does know his salt Can’t thank Joe enough for his patience and knowledge. He puts his students first and worked around my busy work schedule to give me the best opportunity to learn and that’s one of the many things that made Joe great.

When I first went on uncle joe’s page I had failed my first driving test with a different instructor so I was skeptical of all the positive reviews. But after my first taster lesson with him all those doubts disappeared. Uncle Joe has the most refreshing take on driving. Excellent organisation, with driving videos, a self review log system, and availability to answer questions that may come up outside of lesson time. He also gave me an overview of how many lessons I needed before the test so that I didn’t waste my money. He doesn’t just teach you how to pass your test but rather be a competent and confident driver. My lessons were always relaxed and filled with humour. I passed today after just 5 lessons with uncle Joe, I would highly recommend. 🙂

PASSED FIRST TIME! I would not have been able to do this with out Uncle Joe’s Driving School. I was amazed by how much experience and knowledge he had and he was a genuinely nice guy to learn with. I passed first time with Joe with 25 hours worth of lessons. I had no experience at all when I first started learning with Joe so I had a few worries and had been anxious but excited at the same time. I picked Joe due to the good reviews he had and thought that’s exactly what I need. He was friendly, patient and flexible! He made me feel at ease even though I was very nervous when I first started driving and he was very laid back and relaxed which made it easier to work with him. He’s very knowledgeable about driving and knew his stuff really well! All his techniques of teaching the manoeuvres made it easier for me to learn quickly and he was very patient when I kept wanting to practice it. Everyone always says parallel parking is a nightmare but I found this the easy due to his techniques! I highly recommend Joe to everyone who’s looking to pass their test! I would like to say thanks to Joe for all the support and guidance he has given whilst learning how to drive and all the tips he gave! I have no regrets in choosing to work with Joe!

I could not recommend Joe highly enough! I passed 1st time after just 9 lessons thanks to his sage advice and excellent teaching style. He is always encouraging and each lesson is not only practical but also great fun. I was always looking forward to my next lesson and learning with uncle Joe never felt like a chore.

I passed my driving test today with Joe after a semi-intensive course of 15 hours. I have had many more lessons with 2 previous instructors but I did not learn as much with them as I have done with this driving school. Joe has a calm demeanour and will be patient no matter how many times you make the same mistake! I never thought I would be able to pass on my first attempt but thanks to Joe’s organised and planned lessons, his thorough knowledge of the test and driving techniques and his iPad aids (videos on how to park, how to approach cross roads etc), I was able to. Thank you very much for teaching me this life-skill and for believing in me.

I passed my driving test last week. I took 10 lessons and Joe has been an excellent instructor. He will teach you all the information, routes and thought processes that you need to know going into your tests to pass as soon as you are ready. Joe teaches you one step at a time, to a thorough level, while still keeping it simple and easy with patience. He has great instructions for all aspects of your driving and aids you in all maneuvers, also with videos on his iPad and guides in his binder. His lessons are organised, gradual to keep up with and after you finish you log your own progress at the end of each one so you will see the growth and development yourself. I would recommend him to anyone just starting driving as well as someone to have lessons with before your test. Thanks for all the help Joe.

I would recommend Uncle Joe’s Driving School to anybody! After a few scattered lessons here and there, Joe was able to polish my skills and get me test ready in a matter of 5 days! Joe is very patient when teaching and not once did he show an ounce of frustration when I made mistakes – instead he was quick to explain how to rectify them and how to avoid making the same mistakes in future. I was prepared to pay for way more hours than I needed to pass and Joe was very honest in telling me when he thought I would be test ready and didn’t put personal gain before what was best for me. If you’re unsure of who to go for as an instructor please do not waste any more time searching – Uncle Joe is the guy for you!

You learn a lot from Joe in a very short space of time, very informative and good value for money. Would recommend.
